How do I book a carpool trip?
You can book a carpool trip in our app or at www.autostopmobility.com. Simply search for your destination, choose your travel date and select the trip that suits you best!
How do I offer a carpool trip?
Offering a trip on AutostopMobility is easy. Use our mobile app or autostopmobility.com to publish your trip. Enter your departure and arrival points, departure date and time, number of available seats and price per seat. You can add important details or comments about your trip. Then click “Publish trip” and you're done!
How do I cancel my carpool trip?
If your plans change, you can cancel your carpool booking in the app under “Your trips”. The earlier you cancel, the better, as your driver has time to find new passengers. Your refund depends on when you cancel. For example, if you cancel more than 24 hours before departure, we refund the full booking amount except the service fee.
What are the benefits of carpooling?
Carpooling is generally faster and more sociable than other transport options, especially over long distances. It is also greener: sharing a vehicle means fewer cars on the road and fewer emissions. Carpooling is also safer: with only a few people in the car, there are fewer contact points and risks than with other transport options.
